The only thing more important than water for day to day living is breathing.
We are made up of about 70% water. The whole body uses it to survive, whether it is the single cells we are made up from to muscles, stomach etc. In general people should be drinking about three litres daily depending on lifestyle.
This should be pure water, still with nothing added no juices or squashes and not including tea or coffee which acts as a dietetic and causes a loss of water.
Lack of water or dehydration symptoms manifest themselves in many ways, dry mouth, headaches, flu symptoms, symptoms similar to a hangover, aches and pains and it is also presumed that more of the major diseases are caused or are attributable to the lack of water.
The first week on upping the water intake your health may drop or you suffer with flu like symptoms and visits to the toilet become more frequent.
The reason for this is due to the body ridding it self of stored poisons and toxins out of the body. Some of these poisons or toxins are taken back into the body and this causes the drop in health. After a week or two the body then regulates itself after the loss of toxins.
