from Possneck or Leipzig, circa 1890s August Frank Lange born Briete Strasse 18th July 1872, parents August David Lange, Marie Ida Danzer or Tanzer.
We know Marie Ida came from Leipzig but the record is not legible for the Father but new information seems to state he is from Possneck and moves to Leipzig around 1860.
According to his birth record Frank was the third boy of eight children, the only names we have (and these are probably middle names) Bernard who lived in Possneck it seems most of his life as a plumber, Minny, Clara Pauline Nelly and Herman.
We believe Nellie married Karl Emil Schroeder and lived in Possneck around 1918 as Frank was repatriotated in 1917 to his sisters house in Tuchmacher Strasse. There childrens names where Robert, May and Louise.
From Gellen Neustettin Prussia circa 1890s Hermine Mathilde Loize Redmer and her sister Anna Maria L Redmer only know Fathers name Johann August Redmer and he was a farmer, his wife I believe was Augusta Alhert. It looks as if then also had a son August Wilhelm Hinirich born Gellin 1872.
From Lambeth area of London, I have James Roman married to Mary Ann Tovey in St Mary's Lambeth on 30 Oct 1809, children so far Rebecca born 1821 Middlesex , Elizabeth, Levena, Ameilia, Samuel, Benjamin George, Ellen and Henry. I think there was up to six more children as there is 12 years between marriage and first child. James was born around 1790 and died in the workhouse in 1840.
My lineage is then from Benjamin George born 1832 Lambeth who married Sarah Mulley in 1853 in Chelsea. For some reason he used the name Romain and the name continued through to the present day. As far as I can ascertain they had five children, Amelia (who lived with her Grandparents it seemed at least on the census days she did), Benjamin John, Nancy, Mary Ann and Samuel George.
I am especially interested in Benjamin John who moved to Northampton in the prior to 1881 census and married Elizabeth Knight and had two children Walter George (who died in WW1) and Florence Ada. I lived in Northampton for a majority of my life and didn't know there was possibility of relations in the area.
My lineage continues via Samuel George born 1874 Bethnal Green and who married Emma Eliza Cook in 1893 in Lambeth and had the following children William, Henry George, Albert, Joseph, May and Alice. Again I think there was more children as William was born in the latter part of 1898. I am in touch with most of this family now, though as there was afeud in the family for some reason as my Grandfather Henry George only mentioned that his siblings were Alice and Albert.
